Balinor Character in Aren | World Anvil

Balinor (Bah-lin-or)

Banilor is the wild god of mountains and valleys. A quiet god, he is content to roam the wilds. He is warm to those who come across him unless they have committed grievous harm against the world he presides over.

Identifying Features

He stands about a half-foot taller than any mortal satyr, and nestled in his hair are a massive pair of curled ram's horns. Balinor's voice is gruff but warm, and he laughs often and freely; he often stops to enjoy the scenery.

Divine Domains

Mountains, Valleys, Deserts, Grasslands, & Wild Spaces.   The god of mountains and valleys, Balinor is responsible for Rothlia's land. The swirling sands of The Teloran Desert, the sprawling expanse of The Ukotu Mountains, the grassland upon which the Tortoises of the Rhine walk; all of it falls under Balinor's domain. He is responsible for each grain of sand in the Teloran Desert, each pebble upon which the Ukotu Mountains are built, every inch of rich soil in which the grasses of the Rhine grow. His paladins and clerics are concerned primarily with the land as a whole and how it is used.
