Celeas
Celeas was an ancient nation that was, before its destruction, ruled by the Mage-King An'Adavar. After several hundred years of ruling this coastal nation, he discovered the Codex of the Infinite Planes hidden within a sealed chamber underneath the ocean. He began studying the artifact, attempting to ascertain its nature and origin. In these goals, An'Adavar failed, but he did uncover an ancient ritual which would allow him to cast immensely powerful spells; spells with the power to wipe out entire armadas and level cities, with such effects being modest. In some time, Celeas entered a war with the rival mage-kingdom Emarun. This was a long and bloody war during which An'Adavar studied the contents of this powerful spellbook, eventually using it to develop a ritual known as the Necromantic Singularity, a spell which has fortunately been lost to time. An'Adavar cast this on the kingdom of Emarun, disintegrating virtually everything within the kingdom, transforming the once-luscious jungle into a desert of grey dust.
Territories
Celeas occupied the peninsula with which it shared its name. Its general location was in the far southeast of Beogar in an area in which no civilized peoples live, for all of the surrounding lands had been scorched by arcane devastations time and time again throughout history.
