Yohan (Samaya)

From the Old Samayan for "Great King," a yohan is a provincial ruler. Largely an administrative role, a yohan is elected/appointed by all the hans of a particular province, usually on an annual basis and usually at the largest settlement in the province. Yohans exist only in Samayan provinces, not shires. As such, only Uisak, Shirsak, and the Isle of Ochion have yohans. Much like a han, a yohan can be recalled at any time by majority vote of the province's hans. Since a han can also be recalled at any time, they tend to be very responsive to any public outcry against a yohan's policies or actions.
