Starborn

Also called Children of the Golden Sun, the Starborn were special messengers who descended from the Heavens to aid the Orrish as they settled the Milosian Peninsula. Some myths say they rode stars down to the earth, while others say they themselves were the stars. Many of the legendary dragon-slayers of Milosian myth are considered be to Starborn, most especially Laoch Torin.
The Starborn are oft said to have begun their descent at the end of the Age of the Blue Sun, after the Monsters had been drowned and defeated by the Hadrash. They are considered the guardians of humanity, birthed of the Golden Sun, here to safeguard the mortal race until the Age of the Golden Sun ends, at which time they will all ascend back into the Heavens.
This myth has also been integrated into the Hostly Faith, with the Starborn being described as early interpretations of the Hosts' work on earth. The Deinain too are oft integrated into these beliefs, being named as the earliest Starborn to descend.
