A mountain-dwelling breed of manticore, the sphynxes are as mysterious as their mythical namesakes. Sometimes described as winged lions, other times with huge tusks, and occasionally said to have true human faces and advanced wisdom. The beasts dwell principally in the caves of the Storm Crags, and few are motivated to seek them out to learn more.
