Charm

A minor form of natural magic that could supposedly lend power to its speaker and their adherents. Charms were unique among natural magic in that their efficacy did not seem to be limited by gender. Supposedly, kings of ancientry were using charms to win battles long before the Viisianari and their High Magic were heard of.
Today, charms remain as family mottos for the great clans of Milos. Any potency they may have is unclear, yet they represent a rare case where spelling is permitted and even encouraged among men and the ruling class.
