- Aggory and Blackwater Peninsula used to be much more solidly connected until a wealthy young man named Reginold Far, who wanted to make an even bigger name for himself, decided that he wanted Blackwater Peninsula to be a larger version of Far Island, his very own island continent.
- Hoping to make his new continent as large as possible, he commissioned a crew of workers and started removing the land between the Flockfolley Islands and the tip of Far Island, hoping to create a channel wide enough to distinguish the two as seperate continents and not just one big continent broken up by a large river.
- In the beginning he had enlisted a handful of magical beings that helped the project go faster, but the project was a large and greedy undertaking and often very slow due to the nature of the hard labor, mismanagement, and poor supervision over such a large area. When the magical beings grew tired of the work and left, the endeavor slowed to 1/3 of the pace.
- The project remained private and quiet at first, but as the word got out, from travellers and workers, sabotage also began to slow them down.
- Before his death at 86 years old, he had see the channel 75% of the way complete. The land removed and carted off to near and distant lands to be used in construction and damning. His son William, hoping to carry out his father's dream pushed on with the work until he was killed over deceptive business dealings while travelling to the Palefeather Coast.
- When word finally got back to the workers that their benefactor was dead and the money dried up the work haulted immediately despite being mere weeks from completion.
- Out of fear from the army of Blackwater Peninsula residents that would rally against anyone trying to complete the project, the channel was renamed Reginold's Locker.
