Maywalker Rainforest

The most diverse and dense rainforest on Arda, this almost prestine wilderness is home to the most diverse populaions of species per square mile of any place on Arda. Known for its lucious greenery and abundant life, the only bipeds known to inhabit this forest is a band of druids that protect, as they see it, the commodities of life and not commerce.
This region is lucky to have cliff-high banks and a fast moving current from the north that protects it's shores from Lurakkis Point to the northern shore of Weeper's coast, which makes landing any craft nearly impossible. It is with that protection as well as that of The Tillet Mountains of Kalir to the west and south, and Banutucket Lake to the west, that this rainforest has remained mostly untouched. There are small trading villages at Lurakkis Point and The Fields of Abian where the rainforests were cleared thousands of years ago.
