Nistirans

"Sacrifice your body and soul to Nistigar, the Magma Lord."

Basic Information

Anatomy

The Nistirans are typically short people with a variety of body shapes ranging from skinny to round to muscular. They're a bipedal race with two arms and charcoal bones while having an overall slightly wrinkled look to them.

Genetics and Reproduction

Reproduction is achieved through intercourse between a male and a female with the gestation period being about 52 weeks, or an entire year. This is due to the baby needing to adapt to the heat as their body and skin develop.

Growth Rate & Stages

Nistirans go through the normal stages of life; baby, toddler, child, teen, young adult, adult, and senior. Throughout their lives, a Nistiran's skin would get redder and redder until they reach adulthood where it becomes a dark maroon.

Ecology and Habitats

The optimal environment for the Nistirans is a place of extreme heat such as large volcanoes, hence their current residence.

Dietary Needs and Habits

There isn't much flora on the top of a volcano so the Nistirans must resort to the limited fauna that make their home around the volcano. To do this they created pens around their village that house at least 2 of a species to allow for unlimited food.

Biological Cycle

Due to not being in any great shifting dynamics from living at the top of a volcano, the Nistirans don't have much of a biological cycle other than the fact that their skin tone gets slightly less saturated during Afrenkadi and returns back to normal come Afmatalos.

Additional Information

Social Structure

The Vunilosu oversees everything followed by Nistigar's Tirtutir.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

If any Nistiran is captured or killed then their bones can normally be used as excellent firewood, allowing a fire to urn without interruption for a couple of days straight.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Evolution has granted them a high resistance to flames and lava allowing them to swim in the volcano they base their village around. Nistirans naturally have an affinity to Heat Magic given their proximity to the God of Discord and Fire Nistigar and it enables them to generate and control thermal temperatures in their general vicinity. Although they have this magic, it doesn't help them survive in colder climates such as Klevaka or even in room temperature regions.

Civilization and Culture

Naming Traditions

Since there are very few Nistirans in general, each person is given the name of their occupation. Someone who is a priest will be named Vasaloatno respectively just like an animal tamer will be named Ranltirsi Nortioas.

History

Long ago Nistigar fell from the sky at the collapse of the Godland Era, crashing into the soil. This event created what's known as the Crucible, the largest volcano known to the denizens of Arcson and home to the Nistirans. Before the Nistirans made their home at the Crucible, the volcano was just a tourist-attraction, having many people from Aleiyura come and visit. Eventually though, as the Dekruutians ancestors began roaming around the base of the Crucible, their gaseous smog grew thick, trapping the tourists on the volcano and converting them into the Nistirans we know of today, granting them resistance to fire and a different skin tone to what they once had.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Most Nistirans are born without markings but as they grow older and go through their various stages in life the Vunilosu of the village would take some magma from the volcano and combine it with the soil to create a past that serves almost like paint.
