The Troubled Vale - Day 17
General Summary
The party splits up, going to investigate the ruins again. There they meet a ghost, though a ghost that refuses to speak with Sven, the other party's artificer. There are some inconsistencies revealed in questions both to Sven and the ghost. The ghost is at times actively hostile, agrieved, and enraged at her untimely death. Still, the heroes are able to determine where a key location might be, a magical, ceremonial site.
Thistle steals important documents from the Cleric (Elana's) bag. Sven doesn't seem to recognize them.
The party reunites at the cabin, where St. John only makes himself more of a villain in the Harbinger's eyes. The other party wants to detour, causing them to investigate another site altogether. At this site, the other party ditches them, leaving the Harbingers to fend off an automaton, a living suit of armor, on their own. In the aftermath, it's revealed that the now Evil party has captured the Orc, Nordin.
Alistair wants him dead.
