The Rebellion - Day 13

General Summary

The heroes are enroute to the city. Soren remains rather small, along with Razorbeak. This provides him some good transportation, if perhaps leaving him unable to really fight. Before long the heroes are attacked, an ambush in the woods. It leads them to a camp of bandits.

They initially thought they would fight and crush the bandits, but with Alistair as their heaviest hitter, it seems an unlikely outcome. Instead he goes undercover, with an initial plan to corrupt them from the inside, seed a rebellion within the bandit rebellion, and then they would fall apart quite quickly.

They discover traces of the Baka Nekos being involved in the whole uprising, as well as evidence that most here have beenheavily mislead about their whole purpose in being here. They believe the king to be an evil tyrant, but have no clear idea about who will take over once they've slain the king. Their leader, a fire giant, seems intent to take the throne.
