Owlventure - Day 29

General Summary

The heroes have been warned, the human knows about them and he is far stronger than they imagine. Things don't seem it at first. The [[Harbingers]] take cover and await their prey's arrival.
The heroes have received: Dragon TF Potions Spells Wings for Ashe (temporary)
Soon, the man appears. He sees the damaged Lemur shack and charges inside. There's nothing clear about what happens inside except a lot of yelling. Soon the man can be heard screaming, the bear trap has caught his leg. In minutes, the Harbingers have pummeled him with a series of excessively powerful attacks. Gylfie is injured by a lightning attack from Ashe. Shortly after, the man's down.
It's a chance for them to talk. [[Thorne]] goes in first. Along with Ashe. She hovers over him. Their discussion amounts to little. The man is unrepentent. These are his woods and he will rule them with an iron fist. He calls to some sort of god for strength and begins to transform into a hideous, insectoid monster.
Things only get worse as the skies darken, a hoard of bats and mutant wasps surging in and surrounding them. These creatures attack at relevant opportunities. Throwing Alistair from the roof, pursuing Thistle. The battle is intense and things begin to look like the heroes will lose.
As the battle rages, the heroes overwhelmed, divided, there comes a singing. The owls arriving, singing the March of Cambreadth. Bunnies, Bees, and Spiders rushing in lower. It's world war 3.
Thorne takes the dragon potion, transforming into a... miniature poodle sized beast of legend. He's even still able to rage as they burst into battle. The owls drop a present for Alistair, his new [[Alistair's Arrow||Enchanted Arrow]], forged from the sword that was Jack.
Before long, the monster is defeated and the heroes have a moment to themselves. The owls announce that there will be a shortage of growth potion. They need one of them for the wasp queen. In a very brief debate, the heroes decide Soren will stay small.
Afterwards, the heroes are carried back to the owl's tree, to prepare for a grand celebration the following day.
