Dokokanta

Demographics

As it was originally a capital, Dokokanta is a more diverse place with a bunch of races both human and beast.

Government

like every other province, a Daimyo rules the province. Oasi had revolutionised it to be a goldmine of opportunity, but despite being the most populated only 40% of the people had lived there permanently, so only an Education, Military, Shopping and Stay taxes, which even then were pretty low. The state is now ruled by a daimyo known as Saasau Raak'asanazlau/Raak'a (Waterfall flowing towards the stream) III.

Defences

As a once-capital, it has a large wall around it that contain watchtowers situated along with it. Technology from Korea included Hwachas to fire arrows containing fire runes set to explode when hit.

Industry & Trade

The Capital offered opportunities to the other prefectures. Many people went to the capital for education or business, despite seldom permanently living in the capital.

Infrastructure

-Housing: The provincehouses homely, about 178-212 square metres at least with a more extended width than depth and two stories. The Architecture style of the houses is similar to that of Kofun Japan with wooden sliding panel walls made out of Koshkod Trees's cloth wood dyed white and maple wood. However, they have flatter wooden rooves because they believe people on the tops will fall off. Often, some lanterns mark the district this place is in are hung on the roof's overhang.   The houses' first floor contains a small dining area with a Kotatsu, Television on a small bookshelf and Tatami Chairs, a traditional European-style wooden kitchen with a Hearth. At the back of the house, there is often a tiny zen garden with a wooden shrine of the homes' god. In the second story are the bedrooms with, by surprise, bunk beds for multiple people and single beds for single or separate and a study and storage room for the owner of the house to work in. There is also an extension in the roof which contains a large open gap with a small gate and a balcony surrounding the extension. Some homes have a front porch, mainly ones facing the river. Often there is one person per house.   -Shrines: The Shrines are placed within the Rivers of the prefecture and contain a statue of the gods they worship. In Rora they worship the Witches of Earth, Lightning and Plants, as well as Seiryu/Soriu the god of Wood and Nature. When a boat comes through the river, the shrines are designed to sink and cover up any holes using metal, not only protecting the gods but saying that the gods allow you to come through.   -Farms: Lots of farmland near the mountains where they grow wheat for rice, tea plants for tea, herbs and spices, barley for beer and animals and other vegetables for cooking. The Farms also have watermills and windmills that turn the grain into flour, paddocks with water to grow the rice, and barns and pens for livestock like chickens, cows, pigs and bulls (Most livestock is imported from Australia)     -Ports and Harbours: There are ports and rivers along the rivers which take in fisher, trade and transport ships of all sizes to connect them with the other prefectures. This is also where fishing upon poles usually takes place, where people use long spears, tightly tie a stick on them horizontally, stick it and fish from it like the Sri Lankan stilt fishing.   Roads: There are cobblestone roads along the main pathways, but gravel and dirt roads in more natural areas and shrines.   -Stores and Stalls: Stores are found scattered along with village districts, and stalls are located in the market close to the farms. These stalls sell mainly fish, handicrafts, tools and utensils, food, crops, etc. It is said that the stall owners wake up incredibly early to get to the front of the stall because that is where they get the most advertisement.   -Training Grounds: Training grounds and armouries for the Nusod/Archipelago Samurai and T'eintsa Dahazhin/Horses of Steel to train.   -Craft Areas: Blacksmiths, Woodworkers, Chefs, Painters, Potters, Cramiscists, Dollmakers, Writers, Toolmakers etc., all have areas designed for their kind of craft.   -Theatres: Theatre for the entertainment of the beasts, here they play more extravagant versions of Noh and Kabuki plays, mainly kabuki. These include more extravagant set pieces, costumes, special effects, and only play on a New Moon in the Autumn and Spring cycle.   -Bridges: Bridges made out of stone bricks with ample curves to let the river pass through them and any ships that come along.   -Universities and Schools: Several large schools were implemented to educate students to become better beasts in the future.

Points of interest

Khidodai Castle (Heaven Capital Castle): The first castle where the emperor had originally resided. This castle holds the main military base of the T'eintsa Dahazhin/Horses of Steel and is incredibly defended with Hwachas, archers and the T'eintsa Dahazhin/Horses of Steel themselves. The castle stands at 70 metres tall and 90 metres wide, with a courtyard taking up the rest of the North-Eastern Corner.   Kwilaa'in Theatre (Theatre of the grand arts): A grand open stage theatre within the market district, which contain runes of all kinds to display more extravagant versions of    Statue of Oasi Dakded: A Statue of Oasi carved into a mountain in the farmland. It was carved when Oasi became the shogun of the Archipeligo of Seasons, along with a sutra carved behind it. This Sutra is designed to not only mark how the capital held a great place in his heart but also had hidden fire runes in case of an invasion.   Khidak'an (Heavenly Pillar): A large building on the south side of the prefecture, and was where the Shogun used to reside. It was a large building somewhat like a Pagoda, with flat sloped ebony rooves and ornaments of a dragon made out of cobalt mixed with aluminium to get the blue colour. The Shogun often stays here during diplomatic meetings with nobles, but with the public, he books a regular room.

Architecture

Architecture is taken from the Feudal Japanese style, more sloped rooves and panels for walls. Here the wood panels har made out of the chemically transluscent  Koshkod Trees cloth like dyed white which make it look like the shoji door paper and maple wood.

Geography

The Area is within three rivers which serve as its borders and a part of the mountain border behind it, serving as defence on the Northern Side. The trees and plants along with the soil differ from Rora and look more like a regular area in the countries.
