Myrrhan

Myrrhan is the land to the southeast of the continent. It is warm, humid and fertile here, with lands good for the farming of such things as pipe tobacco, cotton, and large volume food crops. Myrrhan is known for its warriors and its healing, as well as their history of being secretive and reclusive. Myrrhanians have started coming into the world and opening their nation up to outsiders more in the last millenia or so, but many still harbor doubts and feel that outsiders should stay out.

Geography

Myrrhan is a warm, wet land that is fertile and flat for the most part. They have many rivers that run through the land, with the three largest being the Alrang Nadi (the Dark Red River), the Daveka Paen (the Goddess Water), and the Gaduli Nadi (the River of Twilight). The Alrang Nadi sits on the eastern side of the country which is drier than the rest as it borders on the Red Rock Bluffs at the edge of the dry land.

Fauna & Flora

Wild horses roam the eastern side of Myrrhan, close by the Alrang Nadi and the bluffs of the dry land. A specific breed of wild boar with large black tusks is common in heavily wooded areas.
A creeping vine with large, waxy, oval shaped, tapered leaves is seen to grow over almost anything if not trimmed back. In the spring and early summer the vines bear large sky blue flowers with dark red stoma. The leaves are poison, but the flower and the stoma produce a sweet indigo coloured tea that helps with headaches. This tea is documents in the Ebna'aya Yeda by Avendyr Ar'amyn and Myrellin Shakri.

Natural Resources

Myrrhan grows many different varieties of rice, and the leaf that is dried for pipe smoking. The land is also heavy with wild shrubs, flowers, and trees that are not looked at twice elsewhere, but are highly regarded as medicine in Myrrhan.
