Dedication Rules
Unlike the Gods of Theros, you measure
your affinity to your chosen college with
Dedication. This replaces the typical Piety
score found in Theros. As this dedication
score increases, your grades, standing or rank
within the college increases. As you may not
wish to be student in your college and instead
play as an educator, associate or ally of the
college. Some additional ranking options
have been created in the dedication table
below.
Each college is defined by core philosophies which dictate what the students learn and their methods of learning. To increase your dedication you must attend classes, complete exams or perform extracurricular activities associated with your college. Performing deeds or acting in a way which is in line with your colleges mantra may grant you additional dedication at the discretion of your DM.
At a Dedication score of 3, 10, 25 and 50 you gain a new rank and special feature detailed in this book.
