Soluna Stone

The Soluna stone was in invention by Crafty at a young age to allow him to better manage His time. Through trial and error and a few workshop explosions resulted in a cruder version he still uses for himself. Newer versions were refined and even decorated.

Larger Version using a 3-inch disk and a fixed frame are also able to be made but much more expensive. They also require far more materials and mana to make. The largest one ever made is 3-ft. across in a solid gold frame. It was made by Crafty and is currently in the grand hall of Whitshield Landing.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

As the Sun rises the Light mana that is in the shape of a small sun moves towards the etched line on the surface. reaching it mid-day. the Shade mana in the form of a moon will move towards it at mid-night. The mana symbols will always be opposite of each other and rotate clockwise with the time. The stone will also turn warmer and colder to give the wearer a non-visible indication to the time of the day.

Manufacturing process

The quartz crystal its slowly chiseled and polish down to a disk 1 inch across. A holder crafted from metal and with a band to hold it to a person's wrist. The runes for Sun and moon are etched into the back. Then Shade and Light mana is poured into the Quartz as its placed into the holder. Once in place a single line is etched from the middle to the outer edge of the quartz disk.
