Cyber Warrior

Known as the protectors and the civil force of Cybai's firewall, Cyber Warriors are soldiers that protect Cybai and maintain the law of the world. They also act as field operators as they travel to other worlds to detect and detain any viruses that escaped from Cybai through the use of their Cyber Tools.
While they are mostly stationed in Cybai, they often support other guilds based on Arcanum City as part of the Rune Masquerade.

Career

Qualifications

For a Cybai native, one must possess a healthy body free of viruses along with an ability to manipulate data around them. They also need to graduate from high school to be properly drafted into the civil force along with a major in cybernetic repairs and hacking.
While it is rare for a foreigner to become a Cyber Warrior, they do need the same qualifications as their native counterparts. However, in order to truly be part of the force, they must gain proper recommendations and permission from the Council or someone from the Masquerade. They must also be tested to see if they have a previous criminal background and if they were not the victim of a previous virus attack.

Career Progression

Cyber Warriors runs on the semi-major rank system. By gaining Data Experience (or Data EXP), they are able to promote to the next rank based on their levels as well as buy items and abilities based on their favored fighting style or weapon. Warriors start out in the Activated Rank represented by the power icon. Along with Activated, there are 5 other ranks that are numbered and represented by the number of bars on a Wi-Fi symbol. In order of progression, these are the ranks:
0//Activated: The starting rank of a Cyber Warrior and are considered as newcomers. They are temporarily handed a Pseudo-Tool to help them practice and master their desired fighting style.
1//Realization: The first rank they will gain. This will be recognized that they learn the basics and are assigned to a Cyber Mage to assist them along with their Login Credentials as well as a Cyber Tool.
2//Updated: This rank allows the Warrior to purchase several items from the EXP shop as long they have enough Data EXP.
3//Booted: This rank allows the promoted Warrior to drive the Data Train without the aid of the Cyber Mage as long they are at the right age to do so. Also, they are allowed to customize their Cyber Tools as well as their Cyvice Visor. They are also free to join any branch within the force depending on their recommendations or preferences.
4//Singularity: Known as the veteran Warriors, this rank grants access to use their Login Credentials without the aid of a Cyber Mage. They are also granted the privilege of creating their own cars in their Data Trains, although there are rumors some Cyber Warriors in their lower ranks gained this benefit through special means.
5//Specialist: The final rank every Cyber Warrior wishes to achieve. They are not only known to be the best of the best but they are also known to be the strongest against all viruses. There are currently 15 Specialists and some of them are leaders of every branch, including the Head Commissioner of the Cyber Warriors.

Perception

Purpose

As the civil and security force of Cybai, Cyber Warriors are tasked to protect the world and maintain the firewalls protecting the civilizations such as the Hub. They also have a special branch that also ensures the Bug Viruses' containment within the world by detecting, tracking, and capturing any viruses that escape from it and into other worlds.

Demographics

Most Warriors are Cybai natives who joined the force at about 18-20 years old. But there are some Warriors who are about 10-15 years old.

Operations

Tools

In order to operate as a Cyber Warrior, they are granted a Cyber Tool, which are special equipment or weapons that grant them magic-like abilities to weaken and restrain a virus, and a Cyvice Visor, a pair of communication goggles that grants them HUD vision and analyze any objects, person, or virus in their viewpoint.

Workplace

While they mostly report their progress at the Cyber Force Headquarters in Cybai, most field agents work in their assigned Data Train to help them travel through other worlds. Most of the trains are equip with briefing and lobby cars. Also, warriors and Cyber Mages are free to create their own cars based on their personal taste as long as they have enough Data EXP. They are also free to make their homes or favorite hangouts their meeting place as long as their secret identities or lives aren't compromised.

Dangers & Hazards

One of the main risks many Warriors face every day is being infected by viruses as most of them are close-combat field agents. Because of this, some of the warriors are Repair Agents specialized in repairing their Cyber Tools and the corruption and glitches on the Cyber Warrior's cyber body. However, Cyber Warriors must be cautious and avoid direct contact without their cyber body equipped.

Legality

As part of the Rune Masquerade, Cyber Warriors are allowed to travel other worlds during their duties. They are also allow to investigate the area as long as they have the Detective's permission. Also, they are allowed to team up with them or a Tuner if a situation calls for it.
