Sol Cult

A cult that begins when people notice that where the Sol Sanctum hovers, which can be seen as a massive light breaching inside the clouds, the surrounding is protected by surges. This has lead to the Sol Cult forming and building towns where the Sol Sanctum can hover.
They deify the notable members of the Magus Convocation for their mastery of magic. Contact with the Convocation, makes the cult become a predominate religion as many want to cling to the idea of living gods that will come down and stabilize the surging world. This relationship is one the Convocation takes advantage of using the cultists for information on the changing world.
While the order poses no harm to regular folks, they are dangerous to anyone that is an Arcan. Following the orders of the Convocation, if anyone does become an Arcan, they are taken into a major church to be held for the preservation of the species. On such orders, they also search for the Ward-Breaker. While a select few residents of Sol Sanctum know about the Ward-Breaker, the Sol Cult pushes a slightly more pitiful narrative to their followers claiming that the grief of being the only Arcan fueled the Ward-Breaker's actions.

Disbandment

When the Sol Sanctum makes its official landing on the surface, the cult disbands relinquishing control to the members of the convocation they deified. Many serving as scouts or military for their respective leader.
