Kuula - The Capital

Kuula is the Capital City of the Empire, and the largest city with a population of some 6,210,889 in 2023. It stands on the northern shores of the Arcadian Region. It is the heart of the Arcadian economy, and acts as a regional financial centre, through which many technological companies trade. This being said, the strength of Kuulas’s economy fluctuates highly - typically going a touch volatile when the citizens are stringing up the outgoing Steward.

The administration of Kuula is handled directly by the executive powers of the Steward, with the assistance of the Kuula Assembly and the AI “Mother of Progress” (Progress for short), which oversees matters such as transport, waste management and local planning. Kuula is the seat of the Steward of the Empire. Almost all governmental branches, as well as the Stewards residence, are based close to “Old Tom” - the Nuclear Reactor that serves as the beating heart of the city.
