Universal Law

Universal Law refers to the moral rules placed upon every one of the Humans, Androids/Automatons, and Cyborgs in the entire solar system of Arcadia as decreed by The Order of the Living God. Violation of these laws can result in either imprisonment or death.
Universal Law is taught in every school in Arcadia so that every citizen may know the rules by heart. Rarely are new Laws added, and never has a Law been removed. The Laws are written upon a titanic stone scultpure on Titan outside The Holy Sanctuary.

Purpose

Universal Law was first established upon The Trinity's return to the solar system after the vanquishing of The Old God. With the death of The Old God, new laws of religion had to be spoken into being by the new deities. It spurred the creation of The Order of the Living God, dedicated to the enforcement and creation of these laws.
The purpose of Universal Law is to give every citizen of Arcadia a just moral code. But of course, it turns out that not every Universal Law is completely just.
