Brave Blessing Organization

The Brave Blessings Organization is a non-profit created for the benefit of helping the Cursed in a variety of ways. Sometimes, this is merely helping them to adapt to their curses and provide resources to make their lives livable, but they also support Spellswords looking to fully remove their curses. The organization keeps a record of every curse that they have provided support with and what has helped to alleviate the symptoms, as well as a record of all known broken curses. A large portion of the staff is also trained in medical or magical healing, in case of a curse causing excessive injury to a patient.
Many Spellswords gather at Blessing facilities to share information and take on jobs. The organization posts job listings for Spellswords that have been approved with proper protocols to ensure that hired mercenaries aren't sent off on suicide missions and are properly compensated for their work. The approval process carries an extra charge, however, so some employers prefer not to hire through the organization.

Leadership

Valis Solvesta is the half-elven founder of the Brave Blessings Organization over about 200 years ago. Valis is known to be Cursed, a fact he has made public as a sign of good faith. His body does not age, giving him a longer life than even his elven blood would give him, but it is also in a constant state of degradation, with the only part unaffected being his brain. He staves off the effects with regenerative magic, but requires an expensive magical procedure to fully regrow body parts lost to the curse. Because of this, Valis makes regular use of prosthetics to avoid undergoing the procedure for as long as possible. Valis started the organization with his own party of Spellswords who have long since passed away, but continues their work, unable to hand it over to a predecessor just yet.

Members

Unsurprisingly, employees of the organization are people with an interest in helping the Cursed. Most of the members are non- Cursed individuals with a desire to help, but a large portion of the organization is also composed of Cursed individuals themselves, or previously Cursed people who have been cured with the organization's help. The level of help that members try to provide can very widely as well. Most try to help within the bounds of the laws as much as they can, but a non-insignificant portion will bend or even break the law if it means they can make a difference for the Cursed population. There have been several cases of known organization members aiding with or actively performing illegal research into Cursed Energy.

Relations

The organization typically works with anyone who needs their assistance, regardless of faction. It often works with The Collective as their resources are often also useful to the Cursed. They often work with researchers from Stella Nova, but many members are wary of some of the researchers' methods and ethics. While the organization works within the law for the most part, it often butts heads with the Aegis on how to properly carry out the law in regards to the Cursed.
