Stella Nova University

Stella Nova University is a private research university in Harmony City. It is the largest university in the city, specializing in arcane research. The university encourages learning more about magic through any means available. Because of this, it's known as a source of knowledge for nearly any topic.

Members

Students and researchers from all around the world come to Stella Nova to learn and make use of its resources. Those that come to Stella Nova are those that value knowledge above all things. Because of this, citizens of Harmony City know to be careful when working with Stella members, as their pursuit of knowledge often leads them to pushing the limits of the law, if not outright breaking them. Stella staff are usually experts in whatever field they study, but most are intellectuals with few high level casters actually present in the university itself.

Leadership

The leader of the university has changed several times over the years, with the most recent leader being Headmistress Luvistra Lucellia. Luvistra is an oddity among Stella's headteachers as her expertise is in bardic magic, but her arcane wisdom is second to none. Her specific area of interest is in ancient magics and prophecies. Long term Stella staffers have noted that under her leadership, the school's members have become even more free to pursue knowledge in whichever way they see fit, which has gained her favor among the school but often causes tension with other factions within the city.

Relations

The school seeks to maintain good relations with The Collective, as the embassy acts as an excellent mediator with other planes of existence. Researchers and students often work closely with research institutes of other disciplines, such as CySilver and Zenith Pharmaceuticals. There's also rumors that some staff members work with some illicit groups in order to acquire samples or information.
