War cart

This vehicle is a lot like the Carts and Carriages found in Arburg. There are some major differences, though. For one, these war carts are not used anymore. Any that were left over after the Great Conquering were burnt, to signify the peaceful era of Arburg. Second, these carts were a lot larger and were meant to carry a lot more people than the conventional vehicle used in everyday Arburgian life.
These carts were quite wide, and very long. Normally, carts have two pairs of wheels (totalling four), but these particular carts had between 4 and 8 pairs. This meant that it could be an extremely long vehicle. Depending on the size, one to three horses would pull the cart.

Purpose

It was used to transport soldiers and supplies to and from battlefronts. The shorter vehicles were used on rougher roads; the longer ones on less bumpy ones. If one got really stuck, you could just saw off one end of the cart , with the rest of the wheels intact. This feature also meant that if they ever ran out of firewood and they were in dire need of some, they could saw off one bit and burn it. This meant, though, that they couldn't use that much firewood, unless they wanted to walk and carry their supplies soon enough.

Comfort

These carts were not exactly built for comfort, but rather effectiveness and simplicity. This simple design meant that if it rained or if the sun was mercilessly beating down on them, they had no shelter if they were driving. There were no seats on the carts, either, so sitting on it for hours was not exactly what anyone would call comfortable. In fact, many soldiers got blisters on their backsides, due to sitting on them for so long.
