Matthew Jones (a.k.a. Matt)
Matthew Jones is the long crush of June Ann Charles. He also happens to be the cousin of Allie Jones, June's best friend. This of course, has caused a lot of teasing from Allie to June. Both of them have no idea that he knows about the crush, though. He is two years older than June, and though they are good friends, he has no romantic interest in her. He tries not to let on that he knows, and is gentle with her for it.

He is very specific and meticulous when it comes to his speech. When he was younger, he had a stutter and slight lisp, which his mother worked very hard to get rid of, so now he carefully considers his vocabulary and pronounces every syllable. Though this sounds strange when it is written like this, it actually sounds very calm and calming.

He's handsome, polite, patient and smart. Basically the ideal guy and husband. Did I mention that he's handsome? Oh, and his voice! It sounds like warm molasses.
He's the big brother that I never had. Of course, that means that we have our spats and disagreements, but it also means that I have, like, my own person who looks out for me, which I find really reassuring.
He's awesome! He loves to play all sorts of games, and he isn't like other adults, who get tired after playing with me after about five minutes. He's plain great.
He can perhaps be a little too perfect, if a child can even be such a thing. He rarely complains, and does everything expected of him, and more. However, I think that made him a little distant from us.
