Lurking among the greenery of the world, Redbelly Cal is a terror feared across Arboreus. On all fours, this gigantic squirrel stands nearly sixty feet high. Black and tan fur swirls across his back and sweeping tail, but his most distinctive feature is his rust-red belly. This gargantuan beast scrabbles up and down the world, raiding towns for anything he can stuff into his cheeks. Food stores, livestock, and even the people are snatched up. No defense has yet been found to protect against his great, gnashing incisors. The terrible teeth regrow at an alarming rate when broken or worn down, and Redbelly Cal can be relentless when he catches the scent of food. Despite his size, this squirrel is tremendously fast and agile.
It is said that he makes his nest out of the leaves from towns he raids, chewing away the stems and carrying the whole leaf, town and all, back to his lair to be woven in with the other dried-out ghost towns.
