Glide Whisky is a rich, amber-hued spirit, usually served in small glasses it comes from the Revelers in large casks or if the need arises square bottles.Flavour
It's said to have a smooth, smoky flavor with hints of caramel and a subtle sweetness that lingers on the tongue. The aroma is said to be heady, with notes of wood smoke, spice, and a touch of fruitiness.History
The Origins of Glide and how it got it's name is rather interesting point of contention among the revelers some say that its name refers to how the drink glides over the tongue others say that it refers to the way it seems to glide out of the casks and still more say that it refers to the butter used in part of Glides creation. Regardless of the truth at this point Glide is the whisky of choice for many in Arbor and it's origins go back to a time before the Reconciliation when Dream Fruit was still not as trusted to provide for everyone and there was a glut attempts at growing barley and wheat, the result of which is an unusual type of barely that has an odd silver hue to it. The only use of which today is in alcohol like Glide.Creation
The base spirit is made from the finest malted barley, which is grown in the fertile soils of the city. However, instead of using traditional oak barrels for aging, the Arborian Revelers age the spirit in casks made from the wood of the great tree, which infuses the whisky with a delicate and magical flavor profile.Components
