Ezmerelda Omaris
Heading up food production in the City is a prestigious honor one only afforded to the most loyal and trusted within the city. Thus it came to be in the hands of Ezmerelda and her family the Omaris Family and none could find reason to deny her the right to own the production of the Float Fruit into the various foodstuffs the citizenry needs to survive. Ezmerelda is no slouch or simply resting on her laurels no she is ambitions and knows that a city and an army runs on its stomach so is more than willing to use her position as leverage to gain even more power. In addition she fancies herself something of a gourmet wishing to expand what is possible with Float Fruit and to provide what she calls culinary experiences.

Appearance
Ezmerelda is tall and quite slender standing at about 5'10'' with a lithe and agile build, fingers calloused and covered in small burns from working in a kitchen most of her life. Their skin is a deep shade of green almost emerald in colour. They have a set of pointed ears and small set of black horns jutting out of their forehead. Their eyes are large expressive pools of pure silver with a piercing gaze that seems to see right through to a man's soul. Their long hair is a pale green and usually styled in loose curls that cascade gently over their shoulders. They are always impeccably dressed in a crisp white chef's jacket over a black waistcoat and trousers. They wear a short chef's hat adorned with a variety of colorful ribbons and a pair of black leather boots. On their side they carry a large knife in a shealth always kept sharp.Personality
Ezmerelda is a highly respected and well-liked boss among her employees. She runs her factories with compassion and kindness, treating her staff like family and going out of her way to ensure their well-being. Despite her unusual quirks, such as her love for gourmet cooking and experimenting with strange creations, she is always guided by her heart and strives to do what is best for everyone around her. Her caring nature and commitment to her employees has made her a sought-after boss, with many people competing for positions in her processing plants. Overall, Ezmerelda is a fair and compassionate leader who values her employees and works hard to create a positive work environment.Background
Ezmerelda or more precisely her family the Omaris have been a staple of the city of Arbor for as long as anyone can remember and have always had a hand in the processing of Float fruit though not quite to the scale that the current factories churn out the finished goods. Ezmerelda herself is the the oldest remaining daughter in the Omaris family, when she was younger her two older siblings were tragically lost, the first to an accident in the kitchen involving an oven and the second succumbed to their injuries after falling into a fire pit at a family dinner. Ezmerelda never wanted to be head of the family though it has been thrust upon her. After the death of her two sibling every precaution was taken to ensure her safety leading to a rather sheltered life starved of physical affection.Schooling and Education
As she grew older she was educated in all aspects of the business learning about Float fruits their components and how they might be processed and what you could make with them, in addition she was schooled in the various aspects of business including pay for workers, what to do about strikes and how to keep your business profitable above all else, some of these lessons may have been missed at some point. She was fascinated by the processing of the fruits though and questioned why there were so few ways to prepare it given both it's large size and how varied it's insides were. In addition there were so many cooking methods in and outside of Arbor surely there had to be better ways than simply boiling it down to make porridge.A New Perspective
Hating the teachers her parents were providing for her and vehemently disagreeing with what they were teaching her. Ezmerelda sought out other opinions and eventually found a chef that was willing to take chances and risks with his culinary creations. The name of this teacher has been deliberty hidden from public view the family not wanting their daughter associated with someone of low standing perhaps? Either way this unknown chef was responsible for igniting a love of cooking in ways that defy descriptions at times. Weeks, Months and Years flew by while the young Ezmerelda trained with the chef learning all she could and beginning to develop her own recipes.Taking Over
Eventually as is to be expected her parents passed the reins of the family business to her and she set to changing things very quickly. At first it was simple things flavours of porridge to choose from rather than the bland staple people were used to. Then more complex things began to come out of the factories, sweets, pies and rolls infused with float fruit to make them more nutritious than they would ordinarily be. Pretty soon things began to emerge from the factories that delighted many who had grown so used to the porridge that their taste buds had nearly atrophied from lack of use. With this takeover and the changes made to the factories working conditions the production of food in Arbor was transformed in a little over 15 years.Rumors
Perhaps not everything in Arbor is dark and terrible, maybe Ezmerelda is as she appears a wonderful woman who loves to cook and in her own words "create culinary delights for all the senses". However there are rumors of disappearing employees never to be seen again. It's just a few though nothing to be too concerned about about a dozen or so a year and with normal employee turnover that's far below the expected number. But still it is strange the only correlation beyond them all working in the plants is that they tend to be on the larger size.Gentleman 1: "Have you heard about old Jenkins? Disappeared without a trace last week." Gentleman 2: "Yes, I heard about it. Terrible business. Do they have any leads?" Gentleman 1: "Not that I've heard. Some are saying he was taken by the fairy folk, others say he was kidnapped by thieves. But I've heard some unsettling rumors about the plant where he worked." Gentleman 2: "What sort of rumors?" Gentleman 1: "Well, you know how Mrs. Ezmerelda is always going on about her unusual culinary delights and experiences. Some are saying that she had something to do with Jenkins' disappearance. That she's using him as an ingredient in one of her dishes." Gentleman 2: "Good heavens, that's a terrible thought. I can't believe that someone as kind and gentle as Mrs. Ezmerelda would do such a thing." Gentleman 1: "I agree, it's hard to believe. But until they find Jenkins or discover what happened to him, we can't be sure of anything." Gentleman 2: "Indeed. Let's hope the The Green Cloaks can get to the bottom of this and bring Jenkins home safe and sound."
