Captain Mirela "Stormwhisper" Vayne grew up in the bustling coastal city of Umcebo, born to a merchant father and a seamstress mother. The ocean called to her early, and by her teenage years, she had joined the ranks of a mercantile fleet as a deckhand. However, the monotony of trade routes didn’t suit her adventurous spirit. Mirela soon fell in with a crew of "mercantile protection specialists," a polite euphemism for pirates.
Rising through the ranks thanks to her cunning mind and sharp tongue, Mirela eventually captained her own ship, The Siren’s Resolve. Her reputation grew as a shrewd negotiator and a fearless leader, able to parlay her way out of naval skirmishes or storm enemy vessels with calculated precision.
