Armor of Aran'sha

In the sun-scorched lands of Aran'shar, where the unrelenting sun burns like an efreets wrath and the blazing sands offer no respite to the weary, a warriors armor must be as practical as it is protective. Here, heavy steel armor would be a hellish burden, the relentless heat quickly crippling even the mightiest of warriors. Instead, soldiers and travellers alike clad themselves in lightweight materials like hardened leather and scaled hide, their armor as supple and airy as they can make it.   Bronze, however, is a different matter. This ancient metal, with its warm glow and said to be the essence of protection, is the favored choice for those who can afford it. Meticulously crafted and often adorned with intricate carvings and symbols, wrought as scale or plate, both offer protection and a touch of opulence for the upper class. Polished, it gleams in the sunlight, answering the suns rays with a reply back towards the heavens. Yet, it is not merely a symbol of status or wealth that drives warriors to don it; bronze armor is also said to offer protection against the forces of magic, the dark things that lurk in the night. ,
