Mekhane

Overview

Mekhane is the primordial force of logic and intelligence, and is the counterpart to Yaldabaoth. It gave life the ability to think and recognize themselves, created the standardized laws of the universe, and created metal and invention as concepts. Mekhane is a benevolent force that wished to see mortalkind invent and expand to the absolute peak of greatness. It destroyed itself to create a great cage that imprisoned Yaldabaoth for all time. The Church of the Broken God and other machine and technological cults often worship it as a deity, and despite its weakened state, Mekhane still grants them spells and other powers from its domains.
