History

Steelgate Airship Industries was founded by Director Gabriel Archibald Langstaff, the man in charge of the initial research and first prototyping of the Skyfrigate class airship. Soon the military use of such devices was soon and the Steelgate Council started investing heavily in the assembly of the 1st Skyfleet under Admiral Oliver Bennet Moody. At 100 PD, General Wilfred Thomas Charelmyavi purchased the company using his families considerable personal wealth. As he was general at the time, the production of military airships not only increased, but became significantly cheaper as well. The company has been in the hands of the Charelmyavi Family ever since.
