The Order of Eternal Bliss
The Order of Eternal Bliss is a paladin order founded and based on Lorla Island on Cathedral grounds. They worship the Stoic, right-hand man of Lady Aeva, the Creator. They believe in a strongly patriarchal and heteronormative system, basing their world view on a simplified (and rather misunderstood) version of the Stoic's approach to life.
Once a part of the order, each member swears to protect the honour of the council and its believers. Salem, grand commander of the order, is a strict and thorough leader and believer. He doesn't allow back talk or critique and advocates for full commitment to their cause. He is unmarried and celibate, serious and passionate about his work.
After a young paladin has finished two years of knaveship, every member is forced to choose between two extremes: Either you have to follow into Salem's footsteps, choosing celibacy and refraining from any physical relationship; or you are to introduce a future wife (or husband, if you are one of the rare female paladins) and stay with your partner until the end of your days. There is no in between.
Paladins of Eternal Bliss are known for their dutifulness and helpfulness. They are well-trained, obedient and mostly friendly.

Culture
Paladins of Eternal Bliss believe that the system as it has been before the last grounding was superior to the one that is currently leading Lorla. They perceive the Stoic as the embodiment of wisdom and strength and see his status as the right-hand of the Creator of Aeva as a sign that Omni from all walks of life should follow his ideals to become just as powerful and significant as he was (and still is).
Important aspects of their teachings are:
- self reflection (under Salem's terms)
- standing strong against hardships, increased endurance
- dedication and commitment to their cause
- a heightened sense of justice
- protectors above all else
Some paladins of this order are friendly, kind and follow the Stoic's teachings with a loving heart.
Others have been tortured - mentally or physically - by Salem. They are less forgiving, have forgotten about their own wants and needs and follow the rules strictly and mindlessly.
Religion
Every single one of the members are following the Creator and the Stoic with an emphasis on the latter. It is strictly forbidden to follow Korkrux, the Alchemist and frowned upon if you sympathise with the Bard or the Scholar.
Education
Paladins of Eternal Bliss are well-educated in healing, fighting, religious texts and the rules in their own codex. They can read and write, have basic herbology skills and take part in several sports on Lorla Island.
