The Primals

Nature

Despite being ostensibly a multitude of separate entities, the Primals are almost universally regarded as a collective, rather than as individuals. The Primals are the personification of the abstract forces of nature. The druids of many covens believe that nature itself takes on the form of various bestial spirits in order to defend itself and aid those who protect nature. Others believe the Primals are actually powerful fey creatures. Regardless of what they truly are, those who follow the path of the Primals are taught to revere nature and protect it against those who would do it harm.   Primal worship is fairly rare as their presence is not a strongly felt as members of the Aran Pantheon. Even those who do worship the Primals are vague on many of the details. Most people who revere nature worship a member of the Aran Pantheon related to it such as Hart, Dunstan, or Anwen. That being said, it does exist in small corners of the world, especially in more rural areas. Cults dedicated to the Primals always have a vague air of foreignness to them that may put others off. Druids are the most common and devout worshipers of the Primals and many of the Children of Ara revere some sort of "totem animal" which some believe are manifestations of the Primals.
