Freshly carved from a dead dragon, a soulstone will appear dull and dirty like any average rock. When polished or cut, soulstones can shine a huge variety of brilliant colours. Every soulstone is unique, even in lesser dragons of the same species. The older the dragon, the larger their soulstone.
