The Luciene Region

The Luciene region has a long and storied history. For centuries, it was ruled by the powerful Fortimox family, who earned their wealth and influence through mining and trading. The region was named after them, and the mountain range to the west, the Dewarian Mountains, was named after their founder, Dewar Fortimox.   However, the Fortimox family eventually died out, and the region was inherited by the Luciene family. The Luciene family renamed the region after themselves, and have ruled over it for the last millennium. The current head of the family is Gerard Luciene.   Under the rule of the Luciene family, the region has thrived, with its mining, lumber, and exotic animal industries providing a rich and diverse economy. The region is known for its beautiful natural scenery, and is a popular destination for tourists.

Industry & Trade

The Luciene region is known for its mining, lumber, and exotic animal industries. The region's mines produce a variety of ores, including iron, copper, gold, and the exquisite magical astrium. These ores are used in many different industries, such as construction, weaponry, and jewelry.   The region's forests are home to a wide variety of trees, and the lumber industry is an important part of the region's economy. These animals are used for a variety of purposes, including transportation, entertainment, and warfare. Specifically, ground-dragons are native to the area, and are raised en-masse to be sold all over the Holy Kingdom, including the premium Venyrian ground-dragon, reserved only for the highest of nobility.   Trade is an important aspect of the Luciene region's economy.
