Swords of State

Ansrivarr: Mondar Bleth's Greatsword recovered from the ashes of his house destroyed by elves during the founding of Cormyr. Ansrivarr is the elven word for memory and is used in the coronation of Kings and Queens.


Ilbratha: Also known as The Warrior's Fang, is a bronze shortsword with a green leather handle and 6 bloodstones set along the blade. It is capable of casting jump, mirror image, and blink on its user, and was wielded by Prince Azoun I. Since its disappearance under the waves in mid 500's DR it is rumored to have been used in the Seros Wars.


Orbyn: Also known as The Edge of Justice, is a greatsword that is covered in faint runes and glows like moonlight. It is the slayer of Magrath the Minotaur and Thauglorimorgorus, The Purple Doom. Now-a-days it is used for nobility and other lesser ranks to swear oaths upon and used to execute treacherous Nobles who committed capital crimes.


Rissar: A short sword never used in battle, but used in royal weddings


Shiningbite: A longsword wielded by Queen Gantharla Obarskyr, known as Drake's Tooth


Symylazzar: The Longsword used for people to swear Fealty to the Crown.
