Inner Planes

Overview
Surrounding the Prime Material plane of Apocrypha, the Inner Planes are separated from most Gods by the Veil of Severance. These include places parallel to Apocrypha - considered reflections of its early nature - and the divided elements from which the planet was formed. The only deities found here are corpses, and those which ascended after the Veil was established. Mortal souls rarely remain here, unless trapped or facilitated by particular means.
Material-Immaterial

Apocrypha.   "The Prime Material Plane... I have to wonder... is Apocrypha really the only world of this realm?"   Alignment: Any, All.   Born from the intersection of the elements, it was on this planet-haven that mortal life first arose.
Apocrypha has many varying landscapes, such as mountains, oceans, deserts, glades, and polar.
Gods are exiled, with plants, creatures, and people of all origins free to exist across its entirety.
The Ethereal Plane.   "That feeling, of always being watched. They're always watching, and yet we almost never see."   Alignment: Neutral.   This transitive plane of spirit incorporeally connects - and overlaps with - the other inner planes.
Within the Ethereal, the respective plane is audible, and visible as though through gossamer.
The ghosts of the trapped or resolute dwell here, while magical creatures and spirits traverse it.
Elemental Chaos

Crestide, Plane of Water.   "Of the elemental planes, this is the most beautiful, but also most deceptive with its danger."   Alignment: Neutral.   Fresh and saline, without surface or avail, here gentle shallows gradually shift into tidal bores.
Faintly illuminated waters hold aloft drifting coral-spheres, far from ever-looming dark abysses.
Realm of Istishia, Marid and Storm Giants abide Tritons and Nereids, to Krakens and Aboleths.
Pyreclast, Plane of Fire.   "Wear fireproof boots in the City of Brass, and don't trip, lest you meld with the pavement."   Alignment: Neutral.   Inhospitable and blazing a cycle of endless rebirth, Pyreclast is a plane of passion and volatility.
A plateau of coals, lava, and ash - illuminated beneath a incandescent sky that rains embers.
Kossuth's domain - Efreeti and Fire Giants share it with elementals like Salamanders and Azer.
Roothold, Plane of Earth.   "Take care when mining, as there's a decent chance you'll be caving in a resident's skull."   Alignment: Neutral.   Imperceptibly slow but unrelenting - tectonic activity breathes life into the suffocating depths.
Within solid rock, crystalline caverns are created and crushed, and tunnels burrowed and buried.
Grumbar resides here, with Dao and Stone Giants, and subterranean creatures like Basilisks.
Skyield, Plane of Air.   "A fall from this height would be deadly - not from hitting the ground, but a lightning storm."   Alignment: Neutral.   Subjective gravity in an empty expanse embodies freedom and travel, where entities fall forever.
Flying cities atop clouds and vortices, break up the boundless horizon of noon and twilight skies.
Home to Akadi - Djinni and Cloud giants live beside airborne beasts, like Sphinxes and Pegasi.
The Para-Elemental Planes.   "As if the elements weren't tumultuous enough, of course they're in conflict with one another."   Alignment: Neutral.   At the cross-section between elements, exist the demiplanes of Smoke, Magma, Ooze, and Ice.
With this, some speculate that the Elemental Chaos is a single plane of four, adjoined layers.
The borders are battled over by Archomentals, lesser titans who seek to expand their domains.
Parallel Planes

The Feywild.   "Across the green crossing, astride the blue stream, nereids and naiads, you'll see, unseen!"   Alignment: Unaligned (Chaotic Leaning).   With abundant beauty and emotion, wild magic runs rampant through this vibrant mirror world.
Daytime and seasons shift with location, across heightened counterparts to prime landscapes.
Titania and the Dark Queen rule Summer and Winter, while wildfey share Spring and Autumn.
The Shadowfell.   "This is the place where stories end, emotions die, and memories are kept, or forgotten."   Alignment: Neutral (Lawful Leaning).   Desolate and apathy-inducing, opaque mists permeate this monochrome echo of Apocrypha.
Light-dimming gloom obscures distorted vistas, such as a twisted mountain as black as the sky.
The Raven Queen presides over her fortress, while incorporeal undead wallow in the wastes.
