The Green Eyed Monster

The Green Eyed Monster is a myth depicting The Curse of Execration. It is depicted in the book "The Verdant Eye".

Summary

The legend details an incident involving a young Halfling man, who steals from a local elderly woman. However, little did the young man know, the old woman was a worshipper of Kal Crist, and utilised the Curse of Execration on the thief. The man becomes insanely jealous of his family, mostly his father, as he falls deeply in love with his mother. The young man murders his father out of jealousy, and then kills his mother when she rejects his advances. The young man is slain by his sister immediately upon discovering his actions.

Historical Basis

While not a one to one adaptation, Allisan Draklen always reported that the story was made up of a composite of many tales found in archives belonging to Kal Crist worshippers.
