Ikos

The Ikos people are from Izuth, the headquarters of The Enclave. The indigenous population of Izuth are inherently magical as the line between Aonus and The Veil is thinnest here.

Family names

Naming traditions of the Ikosian people are diverse, leaning more towards the racial heritage of the parents than the land itself. However, the majority of the people have adopted small subtleties reminiscent of Elven.

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

As strange as the island itself, beauty isn't seen as a physical aspect to them. While the majority of the people on the island are, by measure of other regions of the world, to be on average far more beautiful, the Ikosian people look into the soul for beauty. There is a small ritual that the people do when courting where they are able to allow their souls to touch and in this way they feel the true beauty of the person. However, like anything, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, even for a people who look inward.
