A Lothian Synod, Brigantana

The Lothic Church of Briganta is holding a meeting to determine what to do about the Whispered Cult in Eistedfod Island. There are those that think that the cultists are a new sect of the Lothic Church and the Fortrian Church of Branwen and need outreach. Others believe that they could be a new sect if their leadership was manipulated in that direction. Still more see it as it actually is, a competing cult.
Leaders in the Lothic Church have been called from the Nine Hells, The Mundane Plane, and The Seven Levels of Elysium. Adramalik leads the expedition from Avernus. They want to ascend to become a celestial. They were a celestial at one point who defied Briganta in her early days in Aoghal and now they think they deserve salvation. They are travelling with a retinue of Azers, Lava Children, and Smoke Mephits. When they come across the Styx watchtower, Adramalik will assume that the tower is still being guarded by followers of The Nemain.
If they get Adramalik to talk, they will ask if the Lothic church sent them to...deal with the Whispering One. The details of which they are vague about until they get a really good sense of what side they lay on.

Avernus delegation: Adramalik - Deacon of Despair in Avernus Doreena - mundane liaison to Avernus and shy, unsure of herself in social situations in a disarming way but is absolutely ruthless and will set up anyone for failure with backhanded comments and specious arguments. Ted Cruz.
Elysium delegation: Ormazd the Ki-rin - philosopher and firm believer that Briganta did the right thing given the circumstances surrounding the pestilence but also that healing must be done in Devod. Healing means unleashing the heavenly host in a maelstrom of swift and unequivocal judgement in the glorious name of Briganta and all that she stands for. Communal belonging, rejuvenation, joyous celebration, and family game night. Ormazd is similar to a unicorn in some respects, as it they are a noble equine creature with a single horn. They have a stag-like body, covered in golden scales instead of fur. Their horn and hooves are pinkish in color, and they have a thick golden mane of hair. Their eyes are deep violet and stare steadily.
