Stormy-Eyed

Storms are a normal occurrence in any part of the world. Some are minor, a light shower or dousing, and some are downpours that last for days. These are accepted as part of life, the weather is chaos as it is. However, every few decades comes a storm of power, one that may last weeks on end. Perhaps it is a god's wrath or the will of a great wizard. Perhaps the winds and stars were right. Whatever the cause, there is always one consistency; the birth of a Stormy-Eyed. Those born with the Eyes are granted the power of the storm, and their eyes are forever shrouded in whirling tempest. They are called different names and have different powers, depending on the storm of their birth. Those born in a lightning storm are known simply as Stormy-Eyed, or Tempest-Eyed for distinction. Sandy-Eyed for those of a sandstorm, or Sandesh-Iide in Tardini. Flurry-Eyed, or Wintere-Eye in Sueven for those of a blizzard. Bog-Eyed for those of a gastorm. Finally, there are fringe cases, such as the Stormy-Eyed who was born in the Bloodstorm of Iesadon in 1255 FE, or the many Ignan-Uldao born after the great firestorms of the War of Scales.
