The Drunken Goat

The Drunken Goat is one of the first buildings ever built in the Devil's Backbone, and has changed hands many times in its history. Known to most as "the Goat," it's located in the working-class neighborhood known as The Commons, and provides homey room-and-board to many of the city's adventurers.
Recent History

• Ricker Vomburg assumed ownership of the Goat when he and Tia Aeternum first came to the Backbone. At the time, he was posing as a down-on-his-luck minor noble who'd fled Solace and come to the Backbone to run this slightly seedy tavern.
• Ricker sold the Goat to a wealthy merchant named Randell Jackson when Tia announced her claim to the Aeternum throne. Jackson grew the tavern's business by proclaiming it an historical site.
• Most recently, the Goat's friendly and well-loved bartender, Reed, bought the tavern from Jackson.
