Lunale Inola Myth in Antiquorum | World Anvil

Lunale Inola

Lunale made it their goal to record the history of the world, including the crimes and deeds he witnessed during the great war. Thought blind, Lunale had a voice envied by the gods and became the holder of the world’s oral history. This was lost unfortunately upon his unexpected death.

Oral History:

She who has seen all, I will make known to the lands, that her great and terrible conquest be not forgotten. I, who witnessed each of her triumphs and defeats, will impart her story to the ages, as has been charged to me in the most sacred duty of my ancestors.   It is said the Gods granted her all knowledge of this world and the world beyond -- she saw what others did not, liberating the enslaved and punishing the oppressors. She carved the Great City out of nothingness, as a display of her might and a beacon of light in the darkest times. Supreme over all others, beautiful beyond mortal comprehension, though no one knows where she came from or when Liala was the mighty hand that changed the very fabrics of fate themselves.   At the edges of the desert, she first appeared to me, freshly won from glorious battle. We knew of her violent deeds, having heard stories whispered by the winds, and so we met her with peace and open hands. She returned the gesture in kind, producing honeyed wine and dried dates to break bread with us, and for three days and three nights we feasted under the full moon.   I'm very much basing this off of the Epic of Gilgamesh and Daenerys Targeryan
