Freya, Raenuk, and Belmonté return to Sweetwood Hollow after their ill-fated mission to clear traps for Ronnlaun's Finest Logging Company, only to see the town ablaze. While the group was out in the wilderness, Clan Thellaluna, a tribe of Viðrálfar devoted to the protection of the Bjornsviðr, raided Sweetwood Hollow over its constant abuses of the Viðr over a span of years.   The surviving heroes of our story were poisoned and dragged back to the Halls Under the Tree... but to what end?
