Fate
Fate is one of the oldest deities along with their sisters Mother Magic and Mortavis. They are thought of by the elven populace as the three sisters but true worshippers know that fate takes many forms and has no real preference for male or female. They do not show themselves often but when they do it typically matches the gender of the intended audience, unless the audience has strong preconceptions. For example a male elf whose family has a tapestry depicting fate as a woman that he walks past every day will often see fate as the woman in the tapestry. It is believed that Fate once had another name, something more personal, but the idea of worshipping fate flew in the face of the deliverer's interpretation of Gott given free will. Thus like many of the old elven deities her name was lost to history.
Fate has nearly zero clerics or paladins. She does not collect worshippers or demand sacrifices, she is simply there, watching, lurking in the background, shaping the future. Strangely the area where she is most often worshipped is in reference to elven love lives. Because elves are believed to reincarnate crossing paths with a great love from another life is considered a great boon and fuels the elven idea of soulmates whose love lasts multiple lifetimes. Only without the blessing of Fate you may live your entire life never having met your past live's romantic partner.

Divine Symbols & Sigils
Fate is represented by three different symbols but all are made of gold. A golden loom, said to be where she weaves the threads that are people together into the tapestry of fate. A golden harp glass, this interpretaion likens people to music notes and destiny to a symphony. And most obscure, known only to the true believers is a golded twenty sided shape, each side being an equilateral triangle.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Other than interfering with people's love lives Fate has very few goals beyond the preservation of the world. She speaks to her followers rarely and has gone centuries without speaking to them before. When she does speak though it is only to prevent significant destruction in the world, though her goals are often opaque. She sees the infinite futures of time and thus sometimes deals with problems before they gather attention. In the 1300's one of her followers murdered a toddler, and nobody knows why.
