Aqueous
The king of the sea, Aqueous is seen as the father of the seas. He is loved by most, respected by all, and feared by the mainland of Alberon. Some say that he has never forgiven the Brickertonian Empire for invading his chosen people, the Hansolians. He is the reason it is considered bad luck to have a sailor from brickerton aboard your ship.
The Ocean Father
Aqueous is said to have created the ocean and all of its creatures. He rides on a Hippocampus and is the father of all sea monsters. Villages who fail to pay proper tribute might find that the fish which once surrounded their village all decide to live elsewhere, or a group of giant crabs might show up on their shores.Aqueous and Hetziah
The worship of Aqueous and Hetziah are often confused. Hetziah is worshiped almost exclusively by The Summarian Empire and while she does have some domain over the sea she is mostly a storm and war goddess. Aqueous is god of the ocean and is worshiped almost everywhere not in The Summarian Empire. If you displease Hetziah a hurricane will engulf your ship and lightning will strike your mast. If you anger Aqueous you'll find yourself facing one of his children, often a massive sea serpent of some type.Divine Domains
