"Hey there" Kerry answers her call.

"Hey." Val smirks at him. "Any progress on your plan?"

Kerry shakes his head a little. "Nah, not now."

"Know what?" Val looks at him via holo. "Our little anarchic gesture back there - kinda liked it." She chuckles.

"Me too." His voice is low and deep and there's a small break before he continues with his usual tone. "Just hopin' the Us Cracks girls liked it less." Again a break, as if he's thinking about something. "So, speaking of anarchy, how'd you get into this? This, ehm... I mean, you know..."

Val interrupts him. "Asking why I do what I do?"

"Yeah." He's looking at her with a slight frown. "Why?"

"Came up on Night City's streets. Fixers find people like me pretty quick." Val shrugs with a grin. "Sorry to disappoint, but there's no story. Just comes naturally to me."

"Never thought about..." He thinks about how to say it. "...getting out?"

"If it ain't broke, why fix it." She shrugs again.

Kerry has no answer to that.

"So, if you're up for some more anarchy, let me know." Val smirks at him.

"Well..." Kerry thinks about it and eyes her via holo. "I've got some bridges."

"I got matches." She winks at him.

"Good to know." Kerry nods with a small smirk.

This is kinda 50% in-game dialogue. But the only fitting character for this prompt (for me and my au/timeline) came in mind is Kerry. ...well, and Val herself before leaving NC for Atlanta. But there wouldn't be any dialogue, just monologue and I did not want to write angtsy hurt no comfort again!
Thing is, I'll write a whole series for Val / Kerry and I'm not at this point now. Sometimes I can skip scenes and write stuff anyway, but in this case it didn't work. So yeah, just a short holo call, in-game dialogue plus prompt and stuff. Not every day/prompt can turn out well, I guess. Will be used for my Val / Kerry fics later.
