Ansovan
Venue and Performance
Ansovan is the name the people of the setting call the world, meaning their everyday surroundings; the physical world they can see and touch.
But the world of Ansovan is so much more than that.
Such as the nearby Subtle Realms, invisibly entwined with the physical (Fae and Fiend lands; or Scene the Shade, joyous Life and grim Death).
Then there's the vast cosmos: The neighboring sun, moon, and comet; yes, naturally. Familiar but far-off stars of the constellations; oh yes, them too.
But don't forget the higher-order infinities - the Astral and Ethereal Gulphs, mysterious spirit-shoals, even the ineffable abodes of the gods!
And all these realities - unimaginably huge, impossibly ancient - are tucked into one small corner of The Awaiting, source and habitat of all that is. And since the churning, amorphous eagerness of The Awaiting is incomprehensible even to dragonkind - the first living beings (as we know the term), closer in nature to gods than mortals - it seems most expedient to borrow their definition of The Awaiting's endless potentia - The Venue.
