General Summary

As the battle with Zander Ulverus continues, the party prevails, taking down the cult leader. As Hemlock ends the crazed man's life with a thrust of his sword, he whispers ominous final words that indicate something worse may have been freed by his death. Moments later the terrible truth reveals itself as the Tatterman, the creature which has haunted the dreams of asylum's patients and staff, manifests in the flesh to attack the party. He uses his powers to exacerbate the the corruptions which Rorgrim and Kingfisher had been previously infected with, causing one to flee in agony and the other to transform into a monstrous creature. His focus appears to be the book, The Chain of Veils, which Zander had hidden in his pallette. Now the heroes attempt to fend off the nightmarish Tatterman while simultaneously destroying the book, much to his distress.
