Aleria: Much like the elves, humans in Aleria have been both celebrated as champions and reviled as malefactors, but none can deny the humans' ambition and accomplishments. A perfect example would be one of Aleria's greatest historical heroes, Erodel, General of the Sun. Though he does indeed deserve credit for deposing the corrupt wyrwood emperor, Abroshtor, he is also responsible for the Culling, an appalling massacre in which thousands of innocent wyrwood were destroyed. But history is written by the winners, and the history of Aleria is very-much the history of humankind. Today the humans of Aleria and its close neighbors consist of five primary ethnicities; Arqadians, Devarish, Nalizanti, Nosirions, & Hurda.
